The word “Intimacy” sounds a bit like the words “Into me see”, and this phrase nicely defines what intimacy is really about – being open and vulnerable with another as they in turn open their heart to you. It requires trust, yet it brings a closeness that cannot be achieved in any other way.

But intimacy with God? Is it really possible to enjoy such a privileged relationship with the Creator of the universe? Would God really open his heart to me and say, “Into me see”? Sneaking off with God is about pursuing exactly that – not a one-off experience or an occasional meeting, but a close and deepening intimacy with our awesome God.
